One year has passed after we had to close our doors due to the COVID pandemic. It is with great joy and optimism that we have prepared the decorations this year to celebrate once again the Lord’s Passion as a parish community.
Turning a House into a Home
Late last year SJV’s Mission Team members began working on a project to build a house for a needy family in Eagle Pass, TX. This time, however, it wasn’t just another family. To the team members, they are family. Edgar and Rosa Linda Flores lived with their 5 children in a small, unsafe, overcrowded and substandard house. After inspecting it, the Mission Team determined that the home was beyond repair.
