COVID-19 Protocols Update
We look forward to seeing you all this weekend as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. I invite you, as you feel comfortable, to in-person participation in the Sacraments and parish life. With the updated news from the Archdiocese, below are the updated protocols for St. John Vianney
New Auxiliary Bishop
Father Italo Dell’Oro, C.R.S., was named Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston by Pope Francis on May 18. Bishop-elect Dell’Oro has served as a priest for almost 40 years, 30 of those in the local Archdiocese. Since 2015, he has served as Vicar for Clergy and the Secretariat Director for Clergy Formation and Chaplaincy Services. He was named Vicar General in 2021.
Parking Lot Renovations
There will be major parking lot renovations for the next few weeks on the parking lot on the south side of the campus (by the classrooms) and the back parking lot on the west side of the campus (by the Activity Center). The south side and rear entrances will be closed. Please use the main entrance and park in the main parking lot (north side) during this work. Thank you for your cooperation.
