SJV Mission Team Returns from Eagle Pass
Seventeen SJV Parishioners participated in a Service Mission Trip to Eagle Pass, TX, during the first week of November. Our Team was thrilled to welcome 5 first-time participants! Over the course of five days and braving 40 degree weather in the morning, the team completed a great deal of work on three homes.

What a great day! We were blessed with beautiful weather, over 1,300 volunteers participating, plenty of fun for the entire family, but more importantly, our SJV community coming together to be an example of Living Faith, Changing Lives and Making a Difference!

Did you know that we have a special needs ministry for children here at St. John Vianney? We have two special needs CCE classes each week: Sundays at 9:30 am, and Mondays at 6:00 pm. We also help with sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion, using adaptive curriculum and accommodations.
Coming Together to Feed the Hungry
St. John Paul II Catholic School and the National Charity League donate to St. John Vianney Food Pantry. St. John Paul II’s 1st grade students collected food as part of their September service projects. They concluded their collection on the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul. We thank the entire SJP II community for helping us feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty with over 20 boxes of food items they donated to our Food Pantry at St. John Vianney Catholic Church!
